General Description

The 1/2″-300LB Cryogenic Bellows Seal Gate Valve is specifically designed for service in low-temperature applications requiring zero leakage, such as handling liquefied gases (LNG, LN₂, LOX, LAr). Constructed entirely from ASTM A182 F316L stainless steel, this valve ensures excellent toughness and ductility at cryogenic temperatures down to -196°C . It features an extended bonnet (long neck) design combined with a metal bellows seal to protect the packing and stem seals from extreme cold while providing absolute containment of the medium. The butt-weld ends provide a permanent, leak-free connection suitable for critical cryogenic service .

Key Features & Applications

Key Features:

  • F316L Austenitic Stainless Steel: Provides exceptional toughness, ductility, and corrosion resistance at cryogenic temperatures as low as -196°C .

  • Bellows Seal Design: Metal bellows assembly provides zero-leakage stem sealing, eliminating fugitive emissions and preventing介质 loss .

  • Extended Bonnet with Bellows + Packing Double Seal: The long neck raises the stuffing box away from the cold line, ensuring the packing remains above freezing. The bellows provides primary seal, with packing as secondary backup .

  • Zero Leakage Performance: Bellows seal eliminates the need for gland packing adjustments and ensures compliance with ISO 15848 fugitive emission standards .

  • Low-Temperature Toughness: All F316L components are impact-tested at -196°C to guarantee resistance to brittle fracture .

  • Leak-Free Construction: Butt-weld ends eliminate flange leakage paths, critical for cryogenic service.

  • Long Service Life: Bellows design eliminates stem seal wear, significantly extending valve life in cyclic service .

  • Full Traceability: Material test reports (MTRs) available per EN 10204 3.1.

Main Applications:

  • LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Plants and Terminals

  • Air Separation Units (LOX, LIN, LAr)
