  2. Bubble-Tight Shut-Off: The wedge is fully encapsulated with precision-molded rubber, ensuring excellent sealing performance and bidirectional zero-leakage shut-off.

  3. Corrosion Resistance: The ductile iron body is protected inside and out with a fusion-bonded epoxy coating, preventing corrosion and protecting water quality.

  4. Easy Operation: Low-friction surfaces on the wedge and a wear-resistant stem nut reduce operating torque, ensuring smooth opening and closing.

  5. Self-Cleaning Design: The valve features a smooth, full bore without recesses at the bottom, preventing sediment accumulation and damage to the seal.

7. Selection & Application Notes

  • Temperature Range: EPDM is suitable for water and mild acids up to 80°C. NBR is better suited for oil applications but has a lower temperature resistance.

  • Installation: Suitable for horizontal or vertical installation. Ensure sufficient space above the valve for stem travel and operation.

  • Flow Characteristic: Designed for ON/OFF service only. Do not use as a throttling or control valve to avoid damaging the sealing surface.
