7. Selection & Application Notes

Temperature Range: EPDM is suitable for water and mild acids up to 80°C. NBR is better suited for oil applications but has a lower temperature resistance.

Installation: Suitable for horizontal or vertical installation. Ensure sufficient space above the valve for stem travel and operation.

Flow Characteristic: Designed for ON/OFF service only. Do not use as a throttling or control valve to avoid damaging the sealing surface.
