4. Technical Features

  • Design Feature: Adopts DIN F4 short face-to-face dimension. Compared to the standard DIN F1 length, it offers a shorter installation length and lighter weight, ideal for space-limited applications.

  • Material Advantage: F321 (1.4541) contains Titanium, which effectively prevents the precipitation of chromium carbides in the temperature range of 430°C – 800°C. It offers better welding characteristics and high-temperature resistance compared to 304/316.

  • Anti-Static Device: Anti-static springs can be installed between the ball and stem (in accordance with DIN 3357).

  • Fire-Safe Design: Optional fire-safe design available (in accordance with API 607 / ISO 10497).

8. Remarks

  1. F321 Welding Note: If the valve body requires welding on-site, post-weld stabilization heat treatment is recommended to ensure resistance to intergranular corrosion.

  2. Cleanliness: For Oxygen or special media service, Degreasing and cleaning are required.

  3. Flow Direction: Floating ball valves are generally bi-directional.
