Technical Notes:

  • Double Eccentric Design: The shaft is offset from both the centerline of the disc and the body, reducing seat wear during operation.

  • Extended Stem: Allows the actuator to be positioned above ground while the valve body remains buried. The stem extension is sealed to prevent ingress of moisture and soil.

  • Buried Coating: The coal tar epoxy provides a durable barrier against galvanic corrosion and soil stress .
