5. STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Connection Type: Monoflange wafer construction. The valve body has an integral cast flange at the center (monoflange) with bolt holes; both ends are wafer-type sealing faces without flanges.

  2. Installation Method:

    • Valve is sandwiched between two pipeline flanges, tightened by through-bolts connecting both side flanges.

    • Monoflange function: Can be used as support flange fixed to a bracket, as anchor flange to prevent axial movement, or for connection to auxiliary piping/support structure.

    • Bolts pass through monoflange and pipeline flanges for overall tightening.

  3. Sealing Structure: Concentric soft seal design, disc interference fit with rubber seat achieving zero leakage. Seat adopts fully vulcanized process.

  4. Disc Material Advantage: Stainless steel disc, corrosion resistant, prevents sticking due to rust.

  5. Operation Type: Worm gear operation (standard for D371X model):

    • Worm gear transmission, labor-saving operation

    • Self-locking function, can be positioned at any angle

    • Handwheel clockwise close, counterclockwise open, with position indicator

    • Worm gear box IP65 protection rating

7. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  1. Coating:

    • Body (ductile iron) exterior: Epoxy anti-rust paint, film thickness ≥150μm, color: blue (or as per user request).

    • Monoflange sealing surface to be protected from painting.

    • Stainless steel disc: No coating, natural metal finish.

  2. Protection & Storage:

    • Valve ends protected with plastic caps.

    • Worm gear box with waterproof packaging.

    • Monoflange can be used as lifting point, ensure balanced lifting.

  3. Nameplate: Fixed on worm gear box or body, indicating: Manufacturer, Model D371X (Monoflange Type), Nominal Diameter, Nominal Pressure, Operating Temperature, Body/Disc/Seat Materials, Manufacturing No. and Date.

  4. Warranty: 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after delivery.

  5. Monoflange Load Capacity: This valve’s monoflange is designed for intermediate support and anchoring. Maximum allowable load depends on pipe size and operating conditions. Please consult manufacturer for specific load ratings.
