CRITICAL DESIGN NOTES:

  1. U-Bolt Fastening System

    • Two heavy-duty U-bolts clamp body halves vertically, enabling quick dismantling for wedge/seat maintenance.

    • Zinc-plated finish prevents rust in humid environments.

  2. Material Compatibility

    • Cast iron body meets Class 125 pressure but requires protection against water hammer/thermal shock.

    • 410 SS stem provides 2x higher yield strength than bronze stems.

  3. Installation & Operation

    • Install in horizontal pipes only (U-bolts must be vertical to avoid uneven load).

    • Handwheel rotation: Clockwise to close (CW).
